By 1970, he was already the veteran of 300 combat missions and the recipient of 32 military citations, including three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart.

True Warrior

A true warrior, defined, and distinguished on the battlefield. I’m still baffled how in all the years of civilization the sheepdog is cast aside once the wolf has been vanquished, the sheep has such a short memory.

History, struggle and triumph
