This is a book that everybody should read in school.
how real it was. it wasn't one of those fake rag's to riches stories. it was very informative. entertaining. Bartlett doesn't talk down to you and genuinely feels like he cares. 10/10 would recommend I'm going to re-listen to this immediately.

Excellent
Excellent book with plenty of insights on happiness and fulfillment. Made me stop and think about some aspects of my life and the direction I want to follow. Being a huge fan of The Diary Of A CEO podcast, I loved that the book is read by the author itself.

Straight forward and clear advice
Loved this book so much that when I bought it today, I had to finish it; it came along with me during working out, shoveling and housework; so much learning; this will be a book I listen to over and over again and take notes as I go; and after hearing this book and the messages Steven gave throughout I see how all the things I do to continue to move forward and grow are making me the person I want to be… thank you for making this book and sharing all you’ve been learning in your life; very helpful and uplifting for me

Inside the mind of the "successful."
I'm a psychology student in my final year of undergrad. I've studied quite extensively on happiness, fulfillment, what people deem "success," and how people manage to mispredict what success is for themselves. Steven goes through all of that in this audiobook. It's like sitting down with him personally and having him share some of the most intimate moments of his life with you in hopes that you can know what's worth striving after with all your might and what virtually all people make the mistake of thinking success is only to be life-shakenly disappointed later. I'm incredibly grateful for Steven's work, and I honestly aspire to communicate psychological truths in such a palpable way that he does. You can tell he can speak with such clarity because he's not just sharing research and science but also his mistakes, misfortunes, and vulnerabilities he's had to walk through personally. As the world adapts and attempts to accommodate the technological advances of virtual internet connections, Steven deserves a huge thank you to help smooth that process over. It's necessary now more than ever.
