À propos de cet audio

Bestselling author Abbie Halberstadt helps parents see how God can use the everyday trials of child raising to radically transform how they view hardship and grow to become more like Jesus.

"Why me, Lord?"

Amid the toddler tantrums, the mealtime melees, and the backseat blowups, have you found yourself asking God that same question? Maybe even screaming it into a couch pillow? You're not alone.

Your most trying moments as a parent can quickly spiral into discouragement, hopelessness, and sometimes even resentment toward God or your family—partly because our culture has conditioned us to believe that anything this hard can't possibly be good for us.

Abbie Halberstadt, author of the bestselling M Is for Mama, shares scriptural wisdom and lessons learned from her own challenges as a mama of ten to help shift your perspective on the hardships of parenting and of life, in general.

When you begin to see struggles as a necessary part of God's plan for your spiritual growth, you can discover supernatural peace and purpose, even when you're down in the deepest trenches of parenthood.

Must Read for Mama’s

As a Christian mama I’m so thankful for this book! It has blessed me in so many ways! In the most significant one it’s completely changed my outlook on being a Christian mama, just as I’m in the middle of toddler and newborn! So thankful for this book! Abbie thank you for taking the time from your crazy busy schedule to write this and be a ministry to me and other mama’s! I’m so sending this to all my friends! ❤️

A wonderful book

This was a wonderful second book by Abbie! As a mother to two young children this book constantly reminded me being a mother is my calling and God has no promised an easy route but in the end hard is not bad. I will be listening to the toddler chapter specifically on repeat!

Full of Gold!! Just as good as the first book!

If the title isn't enough to preach on its own- this book was filled with such gold! I felt like this book was the encouragement and perspective I needed in a hard season of motherhood- one that Abbie so graciously unpacked in her book ( newborn & toddler years) Loved this book just as much as I loved her first ! Abbie’s heart is so clear through each chapter - her desire to run along us as we run the race to the upwards call of Christ! This book was the pep talk I needed, the fire under my tired and dreary soul. It is refreshing and such a needed voice in the world of encouragement and truth - not just fluff- this book is gold! I would recommend this book for any mama ( although my husband listened to a couple chapters as well ) who is in a hard season but wants to be faithful in that season and see the good. Such a needed perspective shift!
