À propos de cet audio
Stephen Fry brings the richness of these magical stories to life in the original British recordings, available for the first time in the United States and Canada.
'There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways ... their magical prowess - their daring - their powers of deduction - and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'
Treat your ears to a performance so rich and captivating you'll imagine yourself in the halls of Hogwarts. Wherever you listen, the unmistakable voice of Stephen Fry is guaranteed to guide you ever more deeply into this magical story and transport you to the heart of the adventure.
The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter - but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through - alive!
Theme music composed by James Hannigan.
Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.

My favourite book in the series
The Goblet of Fire is a transitional book. In it Harry and friends move firmly from childhood into early adulthood and are forced to some of life's realities head on, I would like to note that this is my favourite book in the series and this version has my favoured narrator; Potter goes better with an English accent and that's all there is to it, IMHO.

One of my favourite books
I absolutely love this series. Overall I love Fry's performance, however the spell pronounciation bothered me. For example innervate was pronounced ayner-var-te and morsmordre was pronounced morse-mor-dray. Accio was another one but I can't find how it was pronounced here.

Stephen Fry is so much better
I don’t like the Jim Dale narration and Stephen Fry is SO much better. He’s British for one — it’s a British series and Jim dale is an American, it’s jarring. This Stephen Fry version is so good
