À propos de cet audio
When the music impresario Bryan Morrison died at the age of 66 in 2008, after two years in a coma following a polo accident, he left behind his unpublished memoir. As a music publisher, manager, and agent, Morrison had represented the Pretty Things, Pink Floyd, T. Rex, The Jam, Wham!, and many others. He was also the founder and owner of the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club.
In this candid and outspoken audiobook, Morrison reveals the true stories behind why Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd once bit his finger to the bone, the Pretty Things were banned for life from New Zealand, and he became involved with the Kray Twins. He also discusses how The Jam kissed goodbye to success in the US, receiving death threats when Robin Gibb left the Bee Gees, and signing a publishing deal with George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley as Wham!
Spanning the golden age of rock ’n’ roll from the 1960s to the 1980s, this is the extraordinary story of a cigar-chomping entrepreneur, with a passion for art and design, fashion, music, and polo.

fantastic.. in the true sense of that word.
What a life...I sincerely was moved beyond words listening to this.
what an honour it would be to meet anyone who ever worked with him or knew him. This planet is so immensely better off to have had people like him in it.. living life.. and spreading their love of life around like a contagion. A pandemic of Peace and joy and love of life.. something our world could always use more of.
Thank you to him for his legacy and his wisdom in capturing his life for posterity. Even second, third or fourth hand.. it's inspiring and powerful.
Also, I'd like to acknowledge whomever took the initiative to organize and produce the release of this important work.
I'm grateful that fate brought me to the moment where I pressed "purchase" and embarked upon this journey with Bryan.
Whoever you are.. thank you. I'm in your debt.
Cheers
