During a recent chaotic season I was seeking The Lord on how I should respond to what was going on in the world. Upon waking one morning, I had an image flash across my mind, and I knew that this image was an answer from the Father about what I had been asking with the core message to "fall in love with Me." The image was much like the famous Last Supper painting by Leonardo da Vinci. There was a large table, with Jesus seated in the very center. Around this table were eight other individuals. Those at the table represented believers, those who had put their faith and trust in Jesus. At the bottom of this image was a very chaotic scene. There were angry people, there were protests and fights, there was crime, violence, and sexual immorality. In the image, Jesus was longingly and lovingly looking out over this chaotic scene with a tear streaming down this face. The believers seated at the table with Jesus, however, did not share His same concern.

The believers at the table represent the heart postures of many found within the Body of Christ in this present time:

Those who are attempting to numb the problems of their own world with cheap substitutes. Those who are distracted from the world around them. Those whose love has grown cold. Those who are attempting to gain worldly fame and success so Jesus can be famous. Those who are waiting out life with the intent to finally escape and get into Heaven.

In this book, we'll explore each of them, with the intent to turn each of our hearts back to the Father. As believers, we can choose to help reshape culture or simply be a reflection of it. Will we return to the heart of the Father and take up the tools of influence or grab the mirror of reflection?
