À propos de cet audio
In episode two of The Sea Gables Murders, the atmosphere at the tearoom is tense with shock and confusion as Dahlia is rushed to the hospital after collapsing during her speech. Police are crawling over the courtyard, herding guests like cattle in a pen searching for information and evidence.
Enter Detective First Class John Laird, local cop, fast on the scent of more than just a routine police call. He’s been brought there under false pretenses, and while sniffing out the persons of interest, Detective Laird sniffs out tearoom manager Dulcy Dandeneau. His interest in her may not be completely professional.
Tucker and Reggie race to the hospital to learn that Dahlia’s collapse is fatal. Laird shifts into high gear, starting with a missing server and kitchen help that no one seems to have hired. When another body drops during the investigation, another witness vanishes, leaving them with even more unanswered questions.
Detective Laird and company are digging deep, but mouths are slamming shut all over town. No one seems to be who they say they are, unexplained clues are conveniently surfacing, and blackmail begins to show its ugly face. When Laird is abruptly removed from Dahlia’s case, Tucker, Dulcy, and Reggie must take matters into their own hands to find the truth on their own. After a package arrives at Dahlia’s parent’s house in Sussex, England, everything they know is a lie, and it’s anyone’s guess as to the next move. The clock is ticking, but how do you move forward when you don’t know who to trust?
