À propos de cet audio

INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

“Part personal chronicle and part political journey…a candid assessment of some of her colleagues in the White House and the media.” —The Washington Post

Among the Trump era’s savviest insiders, one name stands especially tall: Kellyanne.

As a highly respected pollster for corporate and Republican clients and a frequent television talk show guest, Kellyanne Conway had already established herself as one of the brightest lights on the national political scene when Donald Trump asked her to run his presidential campaign. She agreed, delivering him to the White House, becoming the first woman in American history to manage a winning presidential campaign, and changing the American landscape forever. Who she is, how she did it, and who tried to stop her is a fascinating story of personal triumph and political intrigue that has never been told…until now.

In Here’s The Deal, Kellyanne takes you on a journey all the way to the White House and beyond with her trademark sharp wit, raw honesty, and level eye. It’s all here: what it’s like to be dissected on national television. How to outsmart the media mob. How to outclass the crazy critics. How to survive and succeed male-dominated industries. What happens when the perils of social media really hit home. And what happens when the divisions across the country start playing out in one’s own family.

In this open and vulnerable account, Kellyanne turns the camera on herself. What she has to share—about our politics, about the media, about her time in the White House, and about her personal journey—is an astonishing glimpse of visibility and vulnerability, of professional and personal highs and lows, and ultimately, of triumph.

Here's The Deal is the Real Deal

Not knowing or following Mrs. Conway through President Trump's term, only hearing negative or pejorative comments, I was drawn to reading/hearing her story through current conversations and positive statements about her and I am so glad I have. Not only did she have a wonderful, respected career, sought after by everyone who wanted valid, honest, meaningful, insight and/or direction, she is a true dedicated, loyal and fierce daughter, mother, friend, niece, aunt, wife and woman,
Thank you for opening my eyes on what actually went on inside the White House during President Trump's term. Providing a view non of us on the outside were allowed to see of the President due to the constant barrage on every news media outlet, every talk show, every general conversation from mouth pieces and talking heads, the Democratic party and Democrats alike. Here in Canada, it was just as bad. I love how Mrs. Conway names names. I plan to memorize the list of President Trump's accomplishments so I can rhyme them off the next time I'm faced with a hater.
I can't wait to hear where she goes next, who will benefit from her wisdom and candor and who will be derailed/deplatformed/delisted based on her factual revelations in this book.
Thank you Kellyanne and God Bless
Karen W.

Strange

I dug into this audiobook to hopefully gain some insight not into what made a smart woman work initially for Donald Trump, but rather why she stayed, and why she continues to defend this obviously flawed human. With a shocking lack of self awareness Mrs. Conway would have the listener believe that Trump was a gentle fatherly figure who had America's and everyone else's best interest front and center constantly. She glosses over his recklessness, his lack of intellect, his self serving nature, and really anything even remotely negative including Jan 6th, as merely brief lapses in judgment, or the fault of the people around Trump (after she was gone of course). She skewers her husband and can't seem to reconcile that he, along with millions of others changed their mind and realized that electing him was a colossal mistake. She doubles down on Trump's "achievements" as if he was in the realm of Lincoln and or FDR. I left more confused as to why she, an obviously brilliant mind could continue to support the biggest con man to ever walk the planet.
