À propos de cet audio
From the New York Times best-selling author of Sometimes I Lie.
"Richard Armitage and Stephanie Racine give an arresting performance of this dark psychological thriller.... As secrets are uncovered and additional bodies are found, Armitage and Racine shine with impeccable pacing, building tension that adds to the suspense." (AudioFile Magazine)
There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, his and hers. Which means someone is always lying.
When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation.
Someone isn’t telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.
His & Hers is a twisty, smart psychological thriller. A gripping tale of suspense, told by expertly drawn narrators that will keep listeners guessing until the very end.
A Macmillan Audio production from Flatiron Books
"[A] cunningly constructed psychological thriller.... This is a masterpiece of misdirection." (Publishers Weekly, starred review)
"Feeney offers a brilliant cat-and-mouse game...[a] volatile, tension- and thought-provoking mix." (Booklist)

Amber doesn't remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from 20 years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller asks: Is something really a lie if you believe it's the truth?

Ce que les critiques en disent
"No one can plot - or write - a story like Alice Feeney. His & Hers is a stunning, addictive novel that makes you wonder who you can trust - if anyone. Captivating from beginning to end, this book should not be missed!" (Samantha Downing, best-selling author of My Lovely Wife)
"Feeney does it again! His & Hers is a twisty dual-narrative that gives Gone Girl a run for its money and leaves you wondering if you can trust anyone. I couldn't stop reading." (Christina Dalcher, best-selling author of Vox)
“The twists pile up...visceral and haunting.” (Oprah.com)

Addictive
Firstly, listeners should be aware that there are definite trigger warnings for this one- I didn’t realize them before listening and I partly wish I knew before.
This was really well-performed and I love the twist! It keeps you going back and forth while guessing who the murderer is. I do recommend it, just know theres topics of SA which could be triggering for some.

WOW... My head spins.
I picked up this title after a good book with disappointing narration. First time reading Alice Feeney. Knowing that Richard Armitage was one of the readers sealed the decision and the superb narration by Stephanie Racine was the cherry on the top. The combination of the twisty story and the performance made this one of the best thrillers I have listened to for a long time. It jerked you in all directions. Being an avid addict of good mysteries I was looking for the hooks that would let me know 'who done it' and got lead around by my the nose until the very last second. So very good, so well written, the characters so real, unique and (batsh*t) normal. Scary, smart and I want more of that! Much more. BTW, if this becomes a movie I won't watch it, unless the cast in it matches the quality of the writing.
