Wrapping up the series strong!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Oh Cody Cooper you cocky cowboy you definitely stole my heart. This book caught me by surprise. I honestly wasn’t sure what I expected for Cody’s book but this exceeded my expectations. The single mom trope where the playboy just completely falls for her and her kid 😍I mean the fact that this man has never kissed a woman before her. How can you not love and respect that. The way Cody immediately would do absolutely anything for Hailey and Maddie. Lolly was incredible and a great side character. I love a dirty bird grandma so much! They add such a fun element to a book and Lolly delivered. She brought humor and a lightheartedness that was needed given some of the deeper and heavier side plot and history. And sweet Maddie. Seriously the children in this series were the sweetest little souls and I just want to wrap them all up in a hug. The emotions in this book were deep. Learning more about Cody’s backstory, the Brooke plot line was heartbreaking and just knowing Time River was coming to a close gave me a lot of sad feelings while also feeling so happy to see Cody and Hailey getting their happily ever after. Though I felt this book was a little slower and more repetitive than the rest, this one was a shocker. I thought I’d unraveled the secrets and knew what was coming next only to find myself shocked again. This series ended with a bang. I’ve certainly enjoyed my time in Time River but not sure it will ever live up to Redemption Hills in my eyes. The narration for this whole series was so good! The only thing that would have made it better was if it was done as a duet style. I did really appreciate that every book has different narrators to give each character their own distinct voice.
