À propos de cet audio
Hollywood is indelibly printed in our minds as the ‘go-to’ place for entertainment and has been for decades.
When there really did seem to be more stars in Hollywood than in heaven, Hollywood Stage had them performing films as radio plays - on the sponsor's dime, of course.
Classic films now become audiobooks, with many featuring the original stars from way back when. Here's Suspicion starring Joan Fontaine and Brian Aherne.

Great performance, but inaccurate credits
I didn't read the credits that are under the title of the story. I looked at the photo and the description ("Classic films now become audiobooks, with many featuring the original stars from way back when. Here's Suspicion starring Joan Fontaine and Brian Aherne") to see who starred in this brilliant radio dramatisation of the movie, Suspicion. It does NOT star Joan Fontaine and Brian Aherne, but rather it stars Joan's sister, Olivia de Havilland with William Powell as Johnny. Cecil B DeMille narrates this drama and it's recorded in the 1940s as they talk about William Powell doing another Thin Man movie (Suspicion came out in 1941 and the last Thin Man movie was 1947).
I loved this radio drama even if the sound isn't as great as it is today. It was well acted and put together for under 1 hour.
I would love to see the book Before The Fact (by Francis Iles) narrated on Audible (it seems to be in German only) on which the movie Suspicion was loosely based on. .
