I am enjoying this series so far.
This is my first introduction to this series. It took me few chapters before I got the gist of the complicated political society and its denizens. So far, the Drizzt storyline is really enjoyable and he is a very likable character.
I found it helpful to look up on line some maps and art to visualize the dark elves, their home and other characters I listened to the story a second time and found it just as enjoyable. I picked up on details that I had missed on the first listen.

An Extraordinary Beginning
Victor Bevine does a marvelous job of giving life and voice to Salvatore's creation. On3 could hardly hope for so wonderful a union. Salvatorevs mastery of fantasy fiction is elevated even high by Bevine's eloquence of enunciation and passionate voice talent.
