À propos de cet audio
Shinzo Abe's sudden demise from the global scene was a huge loss to the international community. Prime Minister Abe's political actions reflect the long-term historical and social conditions he lived in. In his model of interactionist leadership, Robert Elgie points out that political leaders operate in an environment that structures their behavior and constrains their freedom of action. (Burrett, 2016) Leaders may have a vision for transforming society and even succeed in reforming institutions and changing political attitudes. But they operate in an environment of relatively fixed institutional structures, long-term historical and social conditions, and short-term political and economic demands (Burrett, 2016).
This book focuses on how Abe's murder occurred, the rationale or otherwise for such act, and lessons learned from Abe's interactionist leadership style.
