The title is misleading, for sure!
This is an amazingly insightful and practical book that can help anyone to improve their relationships! I was listening to it with my young adult daughters in mind, but I gleaned helpful tidbits for my own 27 year marriage. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the psychology of relationships, and certainly for anyone thinking about or actively dating right now. The author intelligently tackles the ingrained cultural mindset of randomly falling in and out of love, and clears up a great deal of the “mystery” of building a healthy and lasting marriage. Finding true love does not have to be a gamble… you can stack the deck in your favor by reading and implementing the steps laid out in this book.

Narrow target audience, preachy, & oddly defeatist
Summary:
-you're inevitably the product of your childhood
-traditional/Christian gender roles!
-people don't change (positively)
