Unexpectedly Good
First book of this nature. It had a storyline and was written in a way that makes you chuckle as well as makes you feel what the main character is going through. I enjoyed the narration immensely! Some of the times the Duke is very immature and it made me mad, but then I reminded myself that he is human and not every character can be perfect. Deffinitly recommend and will be buying the next book.

A Masterpiece
Ms Byrne has written a masterpiece. These characters will stay with me forever. Please be advised this story includes a disturbing scene and its aftermath, but this is what drives the story. Piers Atherton , Duke of Redmayne, is definitely one my favourite heroes, and Alexandra Lane, a quirky bluestocking, is most endearing. Definitely waiting impatiently for the next book in this series. Enjoyed Derek Perkins as a narrator.
