Not very in-depth and
If you are not interested in actually putting time into these two topics i guess this is the audio book for you. I found it extremely light on info and would be the equivalent of a wham bam thank you ma’am in audiobook form. As a female with ADHD and OCD who has been pushed off from receiving any kind of treatment growing up purely because i am a female , i found this audiobook to be very directed to boys and men as the speaker constantly refers to the sufferers as “him” or “he” exclusively. When little girls and women are still trying so hard to be recognized in the community, i find this to be really hurtful to us women trying to find support and resources to help with managing these disorders. Especially with ADHD in women since until the more recent years MANY professionals didn’t believe women could have ADHD therefore leaving us to grow into adulthood untreated and struggle daily
