Uneven character dev and choppy storytelling

It started fine, but characters become vague and ignorant of obvious clues. The protagonist is attacked and questioned and the attacker expects her to know facts she had no way of knowing.

The interactions are unrealistic and forced, making the whole thing less captivating with each new paragraph. Will not finish...
