Tal Bauer is so very talented. Not only does he write an interesting and incredibly detailed suspense but the love story between Mike and Tom is beautiful. My heart ached for these two men. Chris and Etta Mae were perfect additions to the story.

I’m really not a fan of politics or spy plots but this book makes me cry, laugh, feel angry at the world and finally makes me feel really good… I almost listen it in one shot (19 hours) it s crazy good. Tal Bauer is a really talented writer and it s probably one of the best narration by Joel Leslie

Amazing

Intrigue, political maneuvering, terrorists and fear, but through it all two people find eachother and begin to heal. They find their happily ever after but it's not an easy road.
It is a long book but it doesn't feel that way. I bought the audio several years ago and loved it then. I listened to it recently again and remembered why I loved it so much.
Joel Leslie does a fantastic job keeping each character' s voice unique. You are never confused as to who is speaking and considering the vast amount of side character that is a tribute to his incredible skill as a voice actor.
I highly recommend this audio book!

I love the characterization of Chris. I am still in chapter 4 but had to write this review. Thanks to the author for creating Chris and to the narrator for interpreting them so well.
