À propos de cet audio
New release from award-winning authors.
If sharing is forced, it can feel like a punishment; consequently, the word share is no longer understood as an act of kindness and generosity, but rather as something unenjoyable.
This fun rhyming audiobook follows Haz the Monster through different, relatable scenarios in which children shouldn't have to share.
"My Mum says I don't have to share this toy, it's my special one you see, I've had it all my life and don't want anyone touching it but me."
"My Mum says I don't have to share if I'm halfway through a game, why don't you find a toy like this and you can play the same."
How Haz the Monster responds to his peers teaches children assertiveness paired with kindness, and they can take away a handful of responses to use in similar situations.
Note from creators: While writing this audiobook we took inspiration from the RIE method of parenting, which puts emphasis on showing a child respect. Through Haz the Monster we intend to teach positive assertiveness, confidence, and respect in regards to sharing. We strongly believe sharing is a very important value but should be modelled and encouraged rather than forced.
