Left me gasping.
Wow. This book does not disappoint. I love Alice Feeney's writing and was so looking forward to this novel-- I listened all in one day and could not stop!!! Amazing.

this was Darker than the usual fluff of todays women's suspense novels. I loved the narrator and will look for more titles from this author. kind of a Liane Moriarty lite vibe!

Amazing
The twists in this story are worth it. Most of the chapters are short, but get a lot crammed in. The narrator was fantastic and will be looking to acquire audiobooks from the author or narrator in the future.

Another great story from Alice Feeney.
Excellent. Had me hooked start to finish and the twist got me! I couldn't imagine not listening to the audio version as the performance was phenomenal.

Very dark and twisted
I liked the narration, Stephanie Racine has a wonderful voice. The story was very twisted and some readers may be disturbed by the content.

Tiring
Unfortunately, I found the main character to be rather pathetic with a very tiring inner monologue. She has the chance to tell the truth and change her situation way too many times and is extremely self deprecating and gullible. Not that much of a twisty ending as there are only so many characters.
Enjoyed the beginning but quickly became tired of the main character and her poor decisions, as well as the actions of certain characters that were disturbing. The first book by this author was better.

Completely absurd
Twists are planted there purely for shock value. Dialogues are poorly written and the ending was just ridiculous to the point of being infuriating. Very disappointing since I liked this author's first book.
