Buy the paperback!!
This books is another typical Ellen Hopkins. Lots of raw teenage trauma. I have read every book she has written and this one does not disappoint, but I wish I had bought the paperback. The narrator is awful. There are so many random pauses that a few times I thought I had accidentally hit pause! The voices she uses for some of the characters are nothing short of obnoxious. I hope Ellen Hopkins has better luck with future narrators!

terrible narrator
This isn't a usual read for me. I really struggled with the narrator. the slow way she reads, the strange pauses, the inflections making half the sentences sound like questions, the accents, the men's voices, it was all horrendous. the story itself was ok.
