À propos de cet audio
In 2006, HarperCollins announced the publication of a book in which O. J. Simpson told how he hypothetically would have committed the murders. In response to public outrage that Simpson stood to profit from these crimes, HarperCollins canceled the book. A Florida bankruptcy court awarded the rights to the Goldmans in August 2007 to partially satisfy the unpaid civil judgment, which has risen, with interest, to over $38 million.
The Goldman family views this book as Simpson's confession, and has worked hard to ensure that the public will read or listen to this book and learn the truth. This audiobook was produced from the original manuscript approved by O. J. Simpson, with additional insight from the Goldman Family, Pablo F. Fenjves, and Dominick Dunne.

As excited to leave this review as to read it
Terrible choice of narrators. He sounded like an old man on a rocking chair in the south reflecting on the good old days.
Never have I seen a more shining example of a narcissist behaving like a martyr.
I wish I had counted from the start how many times he said “to be honest” / “I cannot lie” / “to tell you the truth.” It’s common for compulsive liars to use these words when telling a lie.
Prayers for the victims.

TRIGGERING
Thanks to the Goldman Family for sharing these words with the world. As a girl who was pregnant with an abusive man's baby at the time, I was riveted with this murder and subsequent trial.
The gaslighting, blaming and grandiose sense of self that the murderer throws around without thought is extremely triggering after almost 3 decades.
As a survivor of suicide (my brother's) the fact that he would feign those inclinations for sympathy or to gain an upper hand with the police... is reprehensible and manipulative to the Nth degree.
So all in all, the confession was exactly what I had been expecting, except I didn't think that after 28 years I could still be so triggered by the coincidences in personality traits shared by abusive, narcissistic partners.
SENDING LOVE AND WARM THOUGHTS TO THE VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF THIS HEINOUS CRIME.

I say "Great" but really it is sad...
With what I already knew about the trial and murders, in conjunction with all the evidence and now this book... I hope he is roasting .... He was a narcissistic self absorbed male....So sad that he just tells himself no didn't do it but you can see by how he talks and the accusations he is trying to cover his own A##.

Not surprised - OJ the Narcissist
I liked the ghost writer who met with OJ and wrote his words was honest about his feelings of his innocence. It is an easy listen and an obvious confirmation of OJ Simpson’s guilt. He is a narcissist and you hear this in the lack of responsibility he takes for all or anything that went wrong in his life.

Only for the Victims
I would never have read this save for the family of Ron wishing the killer be seen writing his confession. What a vile human being. He still professes his innocence yet nowhere in his book did he ever question who would do such a thing to his ex wife. Why? Because he clearly knew. God bless the victims’ families.

Bizarre
This book will leave you shaking your head. It is a journey into the mind of a narcissist. For anyone who followed the infamous trial, it is fascinating and repulsive at once. Unabashed lies, outrageous hypocrisy, demonizing of the media and utter disregard for serious harm to innocent bystanders all became part of the fabric of America during the OJ Simpson trial—and that fabric grows stronger and more threatening every day. This book is worth a read-if you can stomach the incessant whining, ridiculous rationalizations and glaring misstatements of fact.

The Narrator Really Sounds Like OJ
I remember how notorious this book was when it first came out, so I was glad to finally read it. It really does read like a confession, not a "what-if", so you definitely have had to decide he's guilty before reading.
The intro by Pablo Fenjves was so interesting and I could have listened to a whole other book on his interviews with OJ alone.
My only major criticism was the narration of both the OJ police interview and the Nicole Brown 911 recording. They were read verbatim and were just very dry especially because the narrator had to keep reading the name of the person speaking (like a script, which is what these documents are). I know they're important to the story, but the performance just didn't hold my interest.
I think this book is a fascinating psychological study and would recommend it to anyone interested in the inner workings of a narcissist or someone who is just fascinated by the OJ case.
