Well, well, well. Look at you, ogling my audiobook page.... I presume if you’re reading this, it means you either need more encouragement to buy it or we used to date and you’re trying to figure out if you should sue me or not. Here are all the stories and mistakes I’ve made that were way too embarrassing to tell on stage in front of an actual audience; but thanks to not-so-modern technology, you can hear about them here so I don’t have to risk having your judgmental eye contact crush my self-esteem.
This audiobook contains some delicious schadenfreude in which I recall such humiliating debacles as breaking my shoulder while trying to impress a guy, coming very close to spending my life in a Guatemalan prison, and having my lacerated ear sewn back on by a deaf guy after losing it in a torrid love affair.
In addition to hoarding mortifying situations that’ll make you feel way better about your choices, I’ve also accumulated a lot of knowledge from therapists, psychotherapists, and psychopaths that can probably help you avoid making the same mistakes I’ve made. Think of this audiobook as everything you’d want from the Internet all in one place, except without the constant distractions of ads, online shopping, and porn.
I’m not sure what else to say to say, except that you should buy it if you want to laugh and learn how to stop being crazy. And if we used to date, see you in court.

Highly Recommend
I absolutely loved this book! I have listened to it twice. I really respect Whitney’s journey; I was able to relate with much of her struggle and am wired much the same. Again, loved this book so much ! Thank you for the great read.

Tell your friends about this great book
It is not for easy reading or listening but Whitney has shared so much and I learnt a lot about myself and my friends. As Whitney narrated the book herself she has the same wit that she has in her shows. I really felt it was a worthwhile listen and listened to a many chapters more than once. Also audible's app on my iPhone was great to use for this. #audible1

I'm not crying...you're crying
This book! Wow - it was so much more than I was expecting. Picking a book from a comedian I was expecting something a little lighter.
She is so raw, there were points when you could hear her tearing up and I would tear up. I literally found myself laughing out loud as I was listen to this book, and a points even crying. Amazing and well worth the listen!

Funny & insightful

I found a strong feeling of agreement on her chapter "Codependent". It cleared my mind, solved my mystery and taught me how to handle my own preferences over others. It's exploration to me on every chapter of this book. I absolutely not gonna regret having this book.

Good listen
Story was interesting and funny. I am a fan of her stories and comedy. So sorry to say - found her voice a bit annoying at times. It might have been me - got distracted by her voice and missed some of her stories.

Unexpected, but good read
This book was a lot more insightful than I had expected. Naturally, there were a lot of laugh-out-loud funny parts, but overall, the book had a more serious and vulnerable tone. Very relatable, and Whitney Cummings does a great job narrating!

Ok but not mind-blowingly engaging
There is a very lonnnng part about the author’s illnesses and medications where I was truly bored. Altogether it is a funny way of talking about our everyday struggles. But I have listened to way better books I have to say.
