I read Dr. Garland’s book while simultaneously listening to her voice on the Audible edition of her book. I highly recommend this multi-sensory combination!

Each time she shared a new story in her book, I was compelled to look up the music, locations, genres, and references she wrote about.

Including the in-depth research articles on addiction, loss, healing, trauma, and grief annotated and referenced during IN SEARCH OF SALVE.

Because each time Dr. Garland went deep into her writing, it motivated me to dig even deeper into the topics she shared.
