Classic King!
I have been a King reader right about the time he put his second book out there. His stories never disappoint and always had the hair stand up on my neck! MY favorite of his many titles was Talisman, Wolf had me laughing enough to hurt...when I read something that gets me nervous I don't know why but I laugh! I laugh a lot with his REAĹLY good ones.....Gerald's Game was the first book of his that I HAD to put DOWN!! It scared me bad because it could happen and may very well have happened!! (the movie isn't anywhere as good as my inner movie projector) The books of King are all on my bookshelf...but the audio books? It's a whole new way to enjoy a King novel, I first tried Mr. MERCEDES with a narrator who was just perfect for that book and the 2 that followed and that just elevated this series to the stratosphere!! I LOVE to read (Thanks Mom!) and now to listen.....I am in Literature HEAVEN!! Sidetracked just a bit but this is a King scream treat as well...what's really fantastic is that this is a father/son collaboration as Joe Hill is his son...what a treat to have the son be as good at writing as Dad....that's a FANTASTIC thing for us and our 2 KINGS,

good short story
enjoyable quick book...on par with what you would expect from King and Hill...narrator was pleasant to listen to

Loved this book!!!
I watched the film adaptation of this book recently and it left my jaw on the floor, so I thought I would check put the book. This book does not disappoint! It's great for driving as it's only 2hrs long. The narrator is amazing, I highly reccomend listening to this book! The emotion is well portrayed in this book. The perfect mix of horror and suspense 11/10!!!!

meh.....
was not impressed. Lacking in everyway for me. Felt like the story needed more in every area. wasn't enough to draw me in. maybe I'm just too critical. normally blown away by King

Drag. Lots of drag.
Feeling generous here. I've never read a King book that was combo'd with another writer before. I clearly have a preference -- it just dragged on, and the momentum was awkward and stumbling after they had entered the grass -- I've never disliked anything King has ever written, and I can't help but feel that the tempo at the beginning, the writing style at the beginning, was fine and dandy-felt wonderfully King except for a portion of the awkward conversation between the characters. Then it felt like King again briefly, but as it went on, I found myself bored and I actually got up and walked away from my PC without thinking about it. I had lost interest completely, and carried on with life. -tisks- Waste of money. Don't bother.
