À propos de cet audio
Ryan has died, been reborn as a dungeon core, defeated a necromancer, and made a number of friends along the way. Life, well un-life, is good.
However, everything changed when the demons attacked. With his dungeon town in danger and cultists scheming in the shadows, Ryan must decide whether to draw upon the darker side of his own nature - unlocking powers far greater than anything he has accessed before.
Something his new dungeon fairy seems suspiciously excited about. With his favorite adventurer, Blake, slowly accepting his new powers as a Specter of Balance, Ryan learns being a darkness dungeon means a lot more than just bones, zombies, and skeletal fight club. Apparently, the power granted by God of Death encompasses much, much more.
Unfortunately, Ryan learns the hard way that some things should remain dead....

Ryan doesn’t remember much about his life before becoming a dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church—something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head.

Histoire
The usual result of a human taking a runaway semitruck head-on is a very sudden, very fast track to the pearly gates. But for one newly noncorporeal man, there's another option: become a dungeon. Feeling sorry for the desperate angel assigned to him, the man relents. Heck, if it doesn't work out, he can always chat with Saint Peter about it later. Next thing you know, he's a dungeon. Admittedly, a small run-down, somewhat unimpressive dungeon (more of a house, actually), but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Matt is reincarnated as a Tree. Not just any tree, but an overpowered one in a fantasy world that serves as the battlefield for an ongoing conflict between demons and the heroes summoned to oppose them. But Matt can be a great tool against the evil forces. TreeTree (as Matt comes to be known) will learn all sorts of skills, gain levels, and in doing so, build up a forest, train young subordinates, protect a village, and more.

Histoire
A world on the precipice of the apocalypse. A secret forged in the flames of war. A chance to start over. For John Sutton, only one of those three things matters. Retired from a decade of brutal war, he wants nothing more than a quiet pastoral life while he does his best to stem the steady increase of his Doom Points before they hit 100, signaling the start of the end. He’s been given a small farm on the outskirts of the empire as thanks for his service, but no matter how far he travels, it's impossible to escape the war's devastating effects on the world.

James thought he would be just another adventurer in the world’s most anticipated dungeon delving VRMMORPG. But when he logs in, he soon finds out that he won’t be diving the dungeon - he will be creating it. Pretty awesome right? At least that was what he thought when he boldly chose "Random" as his dungeon type....

Good but had problems
Overall the the story was fine and I got through it okay. The main problem I had was the pacing. Both the first and second book had slower more detailed sections devided by jumps in time. In the first book the slower parts felt like they were still moving even when it got a bit info dumpy and I never really felt bored. However, in the second book, especially at the beginning, things felt very dragged out and were full of exposition, and actually made me long for the time jumps, just to move the story along. I will point out that I never felt like I missed anything when jumps happened, in a good way, as the author did an adequate job explaining what happened in those times. The pacing did get better in the latter half of the book. I will be reading the next book but I just hope he fixes the pacing issues he had in this book. But I have to wonder if he was rushed on this one.
