À propos de cet audio
Read by the author, Into the Dark is a firsthand account of what happens to us when we die. Allison DuBois walks her listeners through death as described by "those who live again".
Although death may seem like a dark, quiet, empty place to be, once you go into the dark, you will find out that death has a lot of color and a pulse!
Through her ability to communicate directly with the dead, Allison DuBois relays the wants, desires, and experiences of the deceased. The dead have their own world, but it is important to them to also remain a part of ours.

Not what I had expected, but a joy to listen to
I'm personally not a fan of hearing other people's stories and prefer to general information that I like to apply to my own experiences. At the beginning, being used to books that are organized in a certain way, I assumed this book doesn't have much to offer me as it also contains relating clients' stories and chapters often take a life of their own going in any direction.
However, I persisted through the (audio)book. Allison reads the books herself and sometimes you can even her hear turning the pages. I admire the honesty and emotion that seep through her voice while reading. It seems that she kept her genuine writing with no or little editing, rather than have her personal words altered by some format-following editor or ghost writer. Allison, in her own right-brained way, shares with us many cases and aspects of her personal and professional (mediumship) lives. Still, I feel like there is so much to her experiences that she would find it close to impossible to share everything. She modestly shares her wisdom about many issues although she doesn't claim to be a therapist.
It's really not a book; it's a LONG LOVE LETTER TO FELLOE HUMANS. Thanks Allison.
n.b. My daughter's young cat was unexpectedly diagnosed with an incurable enlarged heart and recently passed. I'm believer in an inexplicable afterlife (esp. after the many experiences that I've had) and heard about Allison Dubois through the drama TV show Medium with Patricia Arquette. Allison's voice is eerily similar to the actress's!
