À propos de cet audio
For years, biblical counselor Darby Strickland has served women in oppressive marriages. Now she writes to anyone who wants to help, regardless of their level of experience.
You will learn how to identify the toxic entitlement that drives abusive behavior and to better understand its impact on victims - including children who are raised in a home with domestic abuse. Ultimately, you will become equipped to provide wise and Christ-centered counsel and to empower and advocate for victims while navigating the complex dynamics of oppression in a marriage.

Extremely vital & necessary biblical counsel for such a time as this!
I recommend this book to all! Whether teenaged, pre engagements, or married women. It is truly needed for the well being of all societies, & importantly the Church. Thank you Darby Strickland for all your sound biblical wisdom, hard work & counsel. God bless you!

I wanted to like this book
If you really suffer abuse from a person that doesn’t want to change, this book can give you an answer to leave this relationship. If you are Christian and want a discourse to leave your relationship, this book is for you as well. It won’t heal you but will help you to separate from the abuser.
I really wanted to like this book. Listen to someone who has experience in this field vs giving the wheel to Jesus is complicated. You will most likely consolidate your place as a victim rather than leaving in freedom.
