À propos de cet audio
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A progressive takedown of the uber-capitalist status quo that has enriched millionaires and billionaires at the expense of the working class, and a blueprint for what transformational change would actually look like
“A clarion call against the American oligarchs . . . powerful.”—The Guardian
It’s OK to be angry about capitalism. Reflecting on our turbulent times, Senator Bernie Sanders takes on the billionaire class and speaks blunt truths about our country’s failure to address the destructive nature of a system that is fueled by uncontrolled greed and rigidly committed to prioritizing corporate profits over the needs of ordinary Americans.
Sanders argues that unfettered capitalism is to blame for an unprecedented level of income and wealth inequality, is undermining our democracy, and is destroying our planet. How can we accept an economic order that allows three billionaires to control more wealth than the bottom half of our society? How can we accept a political system that allows the super rich to buy politicians and swing elections? How can we accept an energy system that rewards the fossil fuel corporations causing the climate crisis? Sanders believes that, in the face of these overwhelming challenges, the American people must ask tough questions about the systems that have failed us and demand fundamental economic and political change. This is where the path forward begins.
It’s OK to Be Angry About Capitalism presents a vision that extends beyond the promises of past campaigns to reveal what would be possible if the political revolution took place, if we would finally recognize that economic rights are human rights, and if we would work to create a society that provides a decent standard of living for all. This isn’t some utopian fantasy; this is democracy as we should know it.

Bernie is the voice of reason in tumultuous times
This book articulately outlines our system's flaws and how the 99% is being left behind as oligarchs continue to consolidate wealth, power and influence. Everyone needs to listen to this, or we will continue to be exploited in the name of corporate greed. Bernie is amazing. This book is fantastic and infuriating. Please give this book a listen; the more people who hear this message, the closer we will be to changing the world for the better.

Spot on!
Bernie Sanders is one of the only consistent American politicians that will fight for what he believes in. I am glad he is fighting for us and not the billionaires that the majority of elected representatives serve.
Now if we only educate the other half of the global population what they are actually angry about...

Highly recommended
I’m not an American citizen, so shamefully know very little about Bernie. I have, however, for some time made the connection between what Bernie calls uber capitalism and the harms we are seeing happening to democracy, humanity and the environment. There has to be a better way than the path we are following now. If you have any qualms about the future, whatever your personal political views are, you should listen to this book.

A must read!
A must read for everyone, not just people who like Bernie Sanders. This book gives a solid an utterly convincing argument for restructuring our economic system, and politics in the western world.

An unacceptable Deception
Making abstraction of who the author is, I would have given this book a 4 star rating, both for the story and for the performance. Oddly, every single one of the 8 reviews displayed in Audible as of this time gave it an all-around perfect 5 stars: that looks suspicious, to say the least.
The "story" here draws its value mainly from the set of social and political ideas Bernie claims to support. I would have given that at least a 4 stars rating.
Unfortunately, it turns out that the author is a well established politician who is not walking the talk he preaches in this book. Therefore, I must warn any interested readers: enjoy the ideology but beware of the wolf in sheep clothes! No objective observer could reconcile his words with his actions.
I cannot give more than 1 star to this political plug. Considering the blatant deception, even that is too much.
