À propos de cet audio
When a coed falls prey to a sadistic murderer, forensic psychiatrist Dr. Caitlin "Caity" Cassidy and Special Agent Atticus Spenser are called in to testify - one for the defense, one for the prosecution. With warring approaches to justice, these two rivals have been butting heads for years - both inside the courtroom and out. And at first, this case appears to be no different.
But when a brutal attack leaves the accused man dead and Caity in critical condition, petty differences take a backseat to saving lives. As the lone survivor, Caity knows too much, and the killer - a madman calling himself the Man in the Maze - is coming back for round two. Now Caity and Spense must join forces to uncover the killer's identity before Caity's time - and luck - runs out.

a thrilling novel with less predictable twists
I can't say I loved it. it was very much a take it or leave it story. please note these are my opinions, take them or leave it.
first, the crimes where very intriguing, almost possible. the twists that were added where pretty good. though I still don't understand the ñpurpose of dizzy as much more than a plot device, which was too bad, I would've liked to have see what the author could do with a character with such struggles.
I found the main heroine, while very smart, determined and ambitious, I found her rather rather aggravating... I can understand her struggles and her motivations, but her bitter attitude, her propensity to push many people away, when injured physically or emotionally, perceived slights did not come off as tough so much as brittle, like glass. I rather liked the hero of the story, he showed some balance for the heroine but not, I don't think, as a romantic partner...at least not so quickly.
overall It was an okay book. few curveballs thrown were quite enjoyable, bit the lead couple really need more time, otherwise I think it would be a couple forced together as opposed to growing together ( if that makes sense.)
