À propos de cet audio
A crazy guy comes into a car lot telling a tale of being chased in his car with his girlfriend by a car full of guys. It's a harrowing story told by this colorful character that inspires the narrator to write a song about Sunday driving—it was no big deal.
Song Stories is a collection of stories written about songs. The author used the titles of six of his songs as the titles of the stories.
Each story tries to create a context for the song while structured so that the story can stand alone. In some cases that may be a broader view of what the song is already saying; in others it may be a scenario in which the song could be used like a soundtrack to the life of the characters.
Songs and stories are different in the way they deliver their message. Stories have an ample amount of words to freely create images. Though songs must use an economy of words and make their statement in a matter of minutes, they have the advantage of sound in all its splendor of beat, melody, and harmony.
