À propos de cet audio
Shorthanded in his business on Sweet Briar Ranch, Baker Lawrence is relieved when his friend Zeke shows up to help. Unfortunately, he hadn't counted on Zeke bringing his sister, Princess Kennedy Weaver-Payne, who is reeling from a divorce from her husband, the heir to the Cornith throne, after his very public affair. She's in North Dakota to heal and to hide from the paparazzi.
Baker isn't quite sure how he became her babysitter, and he's looking for a way to get out of it. Because Kenni is a lot more down to earth—and a lot more appealing—than he ever thought a princess would be. She's the girl next door, just as sweet and kind as she'd been all those years ago when he crushed on her in high school.
Kennedy Weaver wants out of the fish bowl. For 10 years, people micromanaged her life, and her every move was reported in news outlets all over the earth. Since her husband's infidelity and their subsequent divorce, Kennedy just wants to be left alone to figure things out. North Dakota seems like the perfect place. Only, because of one little kidnapping and ransom incident, her older brother thinks she needs a bodyguard. She supposes he's probably right, but she'd really like it to be anyone other than Baker Lawrence. He's been her brother's best friend forever and her very first crush. There is no man more solid and dependable than Baker.
When reporters come to Sweet Water asking questions, they end up improvising to keep Kennedy's identity secure. A fake marriage is the perfect foil, but will it end up being more than they bargained for?
