À propos de cet audio
The magic of kaizen - the Japanese method of taking small steps to accomplish huge goals - is now here for everyone....
Experience the magic of kaizen - the Japanese way to create lasting change....
Lifestyle changes can be overwhelming: It’s hard to take on major goals without falling prey to self-doubt. But with kaizen, big goals become small, approachable steps. This Japanese method first made waves in the business world by launching Toyota to success; it also adds magic to Marie Kondo’s life-changing method of tidying up. As Kondo puts it: “You can take the first small step toward your dream today, and keep taking small steps to grow your passions.”
Now, Sarah Harvey unlocks kaizen’s amazing potential to enhance our everyday lives. Even the boldest intention (I should run a marathon someday) begins with the simplest step (Today, I’ll research local running groups). Kaizen is the key to improving our health, work, finances, relationships, habits, and - yes - homes!

reads like an article from a womans magazine
this book is terrible. the advice in this book is mostly terrible. and the examples used to descibe the authors ideas are terrible.
are you looking for advice on how to finally achieve your goals? you wont find it here.
after some preamble of japanese history and culture you get a rapid fire listicle which includes a miraid of problems a person might want to solve, a quick explainer of the problem and a banal anecdote followed by a "kaizen first step"
Although if you enjoy reading womans magazines for entertainment then this book may be for you.
i like to take notes while listening to self help books, so i will share a few below.
*1st step of kaizen for your diet, pick a can of vegetables out of the back of your cupboard and try and make it more luxurious 🤦♂️
*Wearing a comfy sports bra will make working out less daunting
*Sports is getting hit in the face with a ball in the freezing rain
*Learn dance from beyonce's single ladies
*At work, Make your storage look pretty
If you are actually trying to reach your goals and are not reading solely for entertainment purposes you should check out ...
Atomic Habits by James Clear
