such an amazing performance
I am only writing a review to say how amazing this was. The book is well written, I am very frustrated by the ending, but that's just gonna make me read the second book. Well played, author. Even the end credits were amazing hahaha. the sound effects aren't distracting or annoying, they truly add so much to the book's suspense.

Entertaining listen
Marisa Calin’s performance was great and I look forward to listening to more books narrated by her. Her accents and voices were distinctive enough to easily tell which character was speaking.
The story was enjoyably dark but light enough to leave you entertained. Emilia sometimes frustrated me with her choices or her inability to see what was plainly obvious but that’s the point of a good character. If she was perfect it would have made for a boring listen. It’s fun to see a character grow into themselves and even go a little dark. Wrath, on the other hand, is just sinfully interesting enough to make you almost want to meet him in real life.
Overall, entertaining and enjoyable enough that my 8 hrs drive flew by and I look forward to listening to the next book in the series.

Can't wait for the next one!
This has to be one of the best performances I have heard from Audible! It made a great story even better.
I was a bit skeptical of the book at first since sometimes these types of books can focus a bit to much on the romance, or have a strong female character that only remains strong until a strong man can take over. But this was different, she remains strong and puts her family and friends first.

Enthralling
Loved this book and Marisa did a FABULOUS job of narrating the story. I really felt like I was in the story and I can't wait to listen to the sequel!!

An Interesting Take On Hell
An interesting magical journey with lots of twists and an unique premise. Normally straight couples aren’t my thing but I do like Wrath and Emilia and they grow on me as the book goes. The cliffhanger makes me want more. Narration is often the make or break for me in audiobooks and this narrator have enough life and animation well not being to overtop making it easy and enjoyable to listen to. Love her voice.

This book was phenomenal, a little less romance than I was expecting but that leaves you wanting more for the second book. I cannot wait! There was no point in this book that had me bored , the twists and turns of events make you so involved with the story it’s hard to stop listening. I would rate this as one of my favorite audio books I’ve ever listened to. Marisa did a wonderful job of portraying all of the characters she was reading. 100% would recommend

u a want tall, dark and brooding demon!? u want a young witch who makes huge growth and is just beginning to come into her own!? U GOT IT HERE, BB!!!
I love Emilia's growth, Wrath seems a liiiittle flat but that could just be because we don't get his inner monologs. this is more YA than adult fantasy, but I don't see it as lacking (I usually perfect ass-slappin', throbbing adult fics). I hope the themes become more adult as the series goes on!!

just like a good bedtime story
struggled a bit from the start but gets better after free chapters. great story but too descriptive long. the narrator make it into a good story telling.

Loved it!!
I really enjoyed this book. The story keeps you wanting to know more and read on. This book is perfect for people who love fantasy, witches, demons and slow burn romance.
