Clumsy Attempt
The author does not focus on a target age group which makes her information and advice feel rather scattered. Are we supposed to relate to her and learn from her experiences as a teen or as a middle aged woman? This book is filled with examples of a witchcraft practice that lacks emotional and spiritual maturity. The main reason that I would never recommend this book however, is how it perpetuates witch stereotypes. She summarizes the craft in such a limiting way that it actually ends up devaluing it. If you are looking for a beginner book there are far better options out there!
