Good and spicy !
Short, spicy and am awesome listen. I really enjoyed Kaylas story. I love the alphas and the over all plot. Bridget and Jake did and amazing job bringing the story to life. Can't wait until Kayla’s sisters story!

So many good things.
Performance was mostly great. I loved Rio's and Rylan's voices/tones but felt like Beck's and Kane's were a little too forced. However, something that DID impress me was that all of the voices Lined Up between the narrators. Both narrators had the same ideas as to how each character sounded. That's not always the case with audio books with multiple speakers. -- The story itself was perfectly fine with plenty of spice, and I had to smile at how well the author set up N'Pack (the band) for the next book. If I had any reservations about reading the second book in this series, the sneak peek into the lives of the Alphaball athletes' neighbours made me very curious. Perhaps it was because I read the description of both of these books before starting this one, I like how things lined up in my mind.

okay listen but not full flushed out story.
while main character and her adventure is enjoyable as a stand alone novel I find it truly important to flush out your world to make the most of the novel. there are characters there that play no significant role to the main character besides plot development but the novel eludes to a significant relationship with said characters and leave these characters full of plot holes. for example the main character twin sister. that character despite the book indicating there a deeper connection. her only true purpose was to drive the main character plot forward leaving their character full of plot holes and feeling really irrelevant to the whole story. the main reasoning of the villian is so mundane and the resolution of the issues are to quick. all be it when books drag on conflict resolution it's gets unbearable but when a book does it to quick it becomes anti clamatic. it becomes okay so what the real climax of the story. this novel felt like there was no climax and felt way to open ended. not in the good way where a reader can use the information to make their own educated ending and theories but in a way where nothing felt closed.
