Description

Great representation of trauma and abuse

All the defence mechanisms, the mistrust, assuming the worst in people, everything is so damn accurate. The narrators made the book extremely engaging. The book is an emotional roller coaster, and made me cry at multiple points.
Reader discretion recommended. If you or someone close to you has suffered abuse, please read with caution and seek help at any point if it proves to be too much.

Loved the different stories within the book

The better part of the beginning right up to the middle, I found it repetitive. I understood why it was, but thought it might be too much. However, once the story picked up, I loved the many different stories/topics within the book. It kept me interested right to the end. The performance of the narrators was top-notch! This was my first Molly McAdams book. 4.5 in my opinion. :)

Emmmmaaaahhhhh

It was good! Very entertaining. A little triggering for someone who has a history of SA. The female narrator made me belly laugh with her drawn out Emmmmmaaaahhhh's while speaking on behalf of Reed. Still good, though.
