Denise was a hard-ass, competent, intelligent woman. Yay!

I absolutely loved how Denise handled the thrills and chills, danger-filled, high-octane challenges she was faced with. I wasn’t sure at first if Chris was a good fit. He was great about respecting her strength, but I wasn’t sure he could be there in terms of her vulnerable side. Tarina Deaton handled their developing relationship in a plausible way so they made sense together.

Another Amazing Entry

Denise's story is emotionally complex and full of action and heart. I really enjoyed how Chris was able to open her up, and find a way to connect with her in a meaningful way. Can't wait for the next books.
