I loved this Trilogy!!
James Marsters was enchanting and I loved how he brought this story to life. An excellent sequel to Lady Midnight. ♥️
I got Lady Midnight as a gift in December of 2017. I got Lord of Shadows and Queen of Air and Darkness for Christmas in 2019. I re-read Lady Midnight so that I could read all the books one after the other! It took me 3 1/2 months to read, but it was worth every minute!! Such a fantastic series.
These were the first Cassandra Clare books I have read, and I have since procured the original Shadow Hunter Series books. I understand that there is a spin-off series to this one coming possibly in 2022. I really hope it is sooner!!
I actually followed the Audible versions for Lord of Shadow and Queen of Air and Darkness with the books because they were narrated by the exquisite James Marsters. It was phenomenal. I highly recommend experiencing the series in this way. Sadly, he did not narrate Lady Midnight.
I loved everything about this series!!

Amazing
Even its 23 hours, but time flies. It kept you interested until the end.
This is my fav series by Cassandra Clare.

Loving this series by Cassandra Clare along with her City of Bones and Clockwork Angel series as well. Narrator is good, not hard to listen too. #Audible1

Excellent
This is an amazing series full of great, creative characters, action, adventure and well worth the read. I enjoyed the characters and their interactions. The writing is excellent and the storyline is fast paced and smooth. As with other books from the shadow world, there are a plethora of unique creatures and characters. I enjoyed this book very much.

Sublime but sad
The continuation of the lives of the Blackthorns continues. It was beautiful yet sad. I hated that words were mispronounced ex: Ichor is pronounced *ick or* not eye core, it’s not *die is (soft s)*, it’s day is. It gets on my last nerve when words are mispronounced-it ruins the essence.
It will take me awhile to read Queen of Air and Darkness. This was rough, as most good books. I’m emotionally exhausted. Queen is 30 hours long so it will be awhile. The all consuming betrayal, tortuous love, hate… so well told but will rip your heart out for some time.

best narrator
The narrator was so into it that it made me love it even more. he changed his voice for every character and really put emotion into it. this was my first audiobook and he made me love it
