Histoire
In 1962, Don and Carol Richardson risked their lives to share the gospel with the Sawi people of New Guinea. Peace Child tells their unforgettable story of living among these headhunters and cannibals who valued treachery through fattening victims with friendship before the slaughter. God gave Don and Carol the key to the Sawi hearts via a redemptive analogy from their own mythology.

Great Read, especially for Missionaries.
Just like in his other book, The Peace Child, we are introduced to other cannibals and strange beliefs that are unimaginable to comprehend that exist or existed in parts of this world we live in. Still, glory to God, the sacrifice of those that died is not in vain. The gospel of Jesus Christ prevailed and is still advancing. Hallelujah!!

A powerful story
What a powerful story displaying God's providence and man's willingness to go to the ends of the earth for the glory of God! I also love that the author doesn't solely focus on the missionaries POV, but also took the time to show how the story unfolded for the indigenous peoples contacted from their view point.
