Great listen for teens

I had a hard time getting past the narrator. she read with a weird cadence and rythm that I found off-putting. The voices of the characters also got to me, especially Grandma Redbird's. It was irritating and made it difficult to enjoy the story.

The story was good, kept me listening, yet struggled a bit with narration.
I am a HON fan, liked it, but not my favourite. No regrets though.

Pretty typical tween fantasy novel, it was the editors pick so I though I would give it a try. Not a bad listen just not what I preferred.

This was the first book I’ve read in a very long time in which I had absolutely no interest in the shallow, stereotypical characters, nor the juvenile plot. The narration was delivered in a child like, overly perky way and was difficult to listen to.

Je n'ai pas connue la série précédente et juste l'énumération des différents vampires et personnages je suis mêlée et découragée. Je vais laisser tomber. En anglais en plus c'est trop.
