Mail Order Bride: The Amish Widow and the Cowboy Father tells the beautiful story about two people brought together by the Lord’s divine plan. Sadie was an Amish beauty who was to be married to an older man whom she did not love. Having been a widow she knew what true love felt like, and this was not it. After coming into town to pick up goods for her family, Sadie is led by God to read a mail-order bride advertisement. She is drawn to an ad from a lonely widower living in Texas named Burk. Her heart hurts for this man and his loneliness, so she is compelled to write to him. They begin a secret courtship through the mail and soon realize that God has greater plans for their future relationship. Pursuing their love for each other will not come easy, but with God, all things are possible.
