A pleasant listen
I enjoyed this book, even though I wouldn't call it high literature. It was a good story, gentle, without violence or seriously evil characters. Sort of reminded me.of Maeve Binchy books. Sometimes we need that...kind of like a warm cup of tea, or a nice warm slice of pie...a la mode, of course.

Great for passing the time
I would put this in your bucket for reading when you don't want anything heavy. I listened while cleaning, driving and going for walks. I wouldn't put it in the whimsical bucket but it was an easy listen.
The story involved a young adult finding her place in a family she had never met. Taking over a Cafe from her passed Grandma and finding her place in a town she didn't know.

fell in love
this was such an sweet, heartfelt and inspiring book. The narrators did an amazing job making you truly feel like you were part of this southern little town.

wonderfully written
Loved this story. I had a few years during the last few chapters. Needs to be a movie!

Feel good story
This was nice story about families and forgiveness, grief and love.
I did enjoy listening although occasionally a bit to campy in parts for my tastes but left you with a nice feeling at the end of the story.
