Unnatural narration. Interesting content
The content is good and interesting.
But the narration gets really choppy with pauses in the middle of sentences in awkward ways, like the narrator is getting tired of reading. And at this point, it’s definitely reading words versus telling a fluent story.
This became really evident in chapter 5, where I had to stop because it became so annoying.

good content, tough to listen
loved the content but found the narration exhausting to listen to with many awkward pauses and inflections. looking forward to reading the paper copy.

Not worth it
I listened to about over an hour of the book and so far the author moans about his divorce , being a bad father and husband and growing up poor. I am going to request the refund as I didn’t think I would get a book on diary of please sympathize with me , poor me. Dear audible : just because author wants to narrate the book , it doesn’t mean they should. During the first chapter it feels like he wants to cry all the time instead of keeping it professional. Hard pass for me . I could be wrong if you decide to actually finish the book and you have learnt something but honestly I can’t listen to one more minute of it
