An exceptional story of exploration, hope, deceit, redemption, and survival in the not-too-distant future. The characters are well-crafted and you feel a connection to all of them. The technology aspects are detailed but not distracting, and plausible.

I was so engrossed in this story that I bought the next two books before the first one was finished!
