À propos de cet audio
Montessori: A Modern Approach has been called the single best book for anyone - educator, childcare professional, and especially parent - seeking answers to the questions: What is the Montessori method? Are its revolutionary ideas about early childhood education relevant to today's world? And most important, especially for today's dual-career couples, Is a Montessori education right for my child?
Paula Polk Lillard writes both as a trained educator and as a concerned parent - she has many years as a public school teacher, but it was her enthusiasm for the education her own child experienced in a Montessori school that led her to become a leading voice in the Montessori movement in this country. Her book offers the clearest and most concise statement of the Montessori method of child development and education available today.

Useless.
This book is impressive in its failure to provide one ounce of useful, practical advice. It is a self congratulatory heap of obfuscated nonsense cobbled together from Montessori’s better work. Enjoy such insights as “the will of the child leads to a luminous future!” And other flowery descriptions of the wisdom of the child’s mind. This book is much better suited to a philosopher who enjoys listening to others wax poetic about the nature of a child’s existence with little to no evidence sighted than a parent or care giver who hopes to learn anything of use. Also, the robot who reads to book does it no favours. I was unable to complete this book and chose to instead sit in silence as the mechanical cadence and repetitious word vomit was unbearable.
