À propos de cet audio
I am admitting up front that I was a realtor for 30 years in Washington State and in Phoenix, Arizona, which will give this fictional story a ring of truth. Several of the characters and events resemble those from real life. Most of the characters and events are made up out of whole cloth. The sexy boyfriend was just for fun. My only boyfriend is the love of my life for 55 years.
Our murder mystery starts off as Maye's new agent, Sarah McClanahan, discovers her clients with crossbow bolts in their bloody bodies in her new listing. Maye's sexy boyfriend, sheriff's deputy Frank Singleton, has his hands full investigating this crime and others that appear to be piling up.
Meanwhile Maye West sells the deal of a lifetime: four large lake front properties surrounding a beautiful Lake Haverly in Punkin Center, Arizona. The first three sales are easy peasy. The fourth seller, James Crandall, a well-known hot head, challenges Maye's expertise. Her clients are a New York attorney Miranda Feldman and her writer husband, Joshua. While out fishing, Joshua discovers a body in their Shangri-La.
It gets complicated when the coroner identifies the body as James Crandall, Maye's toughest seller. At the memorial his neighbors scatter his ashes in the lake, James shows up madder than a hornet.
The coroner and Frank, humiliated by the misidentification, take refuge in The Recovery Room for a drink to commiserate. Unfortunately, one drink led to another until Maye calls upon her other agent Ed McGinley to help rescue them. They discover that managing two drunks is like herding cats.
Stay tuned for more shootings and a couple of love stories, father, and son reunion, a jailbreak, and more mayhem are in store for our intrepid realtors and friends.
