Wonderful story, writing and performance!
This work was a pleasure to listen to and exceeded expectations. I immediately went out and purchased the sequel audiobook. The story was well crafted and written and the reading was in itself an incredible performance work of art. Loved it.

It is hard to say what this is about
Paul writes about food and wine, and is under a deadline to finish a book. His girlfriend has left him for her personal trainer. His editor convinces him to take a trip to Italy to finish the book. When he gets to Italy there is a strange occurrence with the rental car company and he ends up renting a bulldozer as his transportation. After that, not really very much happens. You get to meet the locals which is nice. The bulldozer doesn't play a huge role in the story, which you think it would since it is part of the title. The narrator is very good and makes the material as interesting as it can be. Other than a pleasant vacation, not a lot happens.

Sweet and funny
Perfect listening while convalescing from surgery. Not the author is very best work, but has a pleasant sparkle.
