In other words, the insatiable hunger and protectiveness she is waking up in me is a threat to my peace of mind. Before I sink any deeper into this dangerous attraction, I need to solve this murder and get back on the road.

But will fate take her from me before I realize the road has been leading to her all along?

The male narrator was brutal. It sounded like Paten Oswald putting on a fake gruff voice. I liked everything else about it though. ❤️

Give it a chance

At the beginning I wasn’t sure if I liked it but I fell in love with the characters and the story. Finished it in a day!

Loved it

Loved the story and narration. Characters were adorable and this was exactly what I needed. Quick read/listen and so perfect.

Good story, but the male narrator was not right

The story overall is good! I for sure enjoyed the plot, but it certainly took a lot away with the chosen male narrator. He sounded like a 50-60 year old scuzball, not a 30-something brooding giant with a growl. I wish I knew you could return books before I finished it.

Male narrator a bit skeevy

Overall good story, female narrator was good but the male narrator gave off creepy vibes and I had to skip through the intimate sections he read as it came off all creepy and wrong. Not a bad book though.

Wish I had read the paperback instead.

The story was cute, but the male narrator made this a hard listen. It came off as a creepy older guy and was very distracting and skeeved me out. Wish I could return but I didn't buy with credits.

tessa bailey does it again

so fun! i didnt like the male narrator- he didnt match the character to me which sucked. Besides that it was great!

Engrossing Mystery Romance

This book combines both mystery and romance genres very well. I enjoyed it. I will definitely get another one of her books again. The narration was so so however.

Loved the grumpy sunshine aspect

The book was great… wished for more thriller aspect but overall decent. The dynamic between the characters was excellent too
