After a Luke Skywalker/Darth Vader moment, I discovered I do indeed have a father. He comes with a hell of a lot of baggage, but I’ve decided to keep him. Not only do I have a father, I have a kick-ass new sister, a ghostly family, and super powers to boot. If you add to the mix that I’m dating the Grim Reaper, it’s a freakin’ party.
The only thing standing in the way of my happiness is the Angel of Mercy, though Angel of Misery is more appropriate. She’s responsible for almost everyone I have loved, and who has loved me, being taken away. With the help of family and friends, I will track her down and show her exactly what a perimenopausal hot flash looks like in action.
Job: Death counselor - supergluing ghosts back together and solving their issues is rewarding. For real.
Mission: Bring the seriously evil Angel of Mercy to justice without dying or getting anyone else killed in the process.
Team: A bunch of certifiable Immortals, including one who re-homes vibrators. Yes, you read that correctly.
How to do this? Wing it. Wine, my demon boyfriend, a houseful of deceased squatters, and good friends by my side will help.

Love it
So good, so much fun. I love this series and don't want to have it end. Robyn has a great sense of rhythm and the story is just what I need at this phase in time.
Jessica Almasy is a fantastic Daisy and the other characters are perfect.
I laughed and cried.
It is absolutely fantastic.

The (wonderful) end… for now
To take Robyn Peterman's line, this is the end of the series… for now. Well, since the next one is coming out in a couple of weeks, it really is "for now", and thank the Maker that there will be a new one soon because this book, like its three predecessors, was all sorts of fabulous and narrated perfectly. Again, they are all a total must to have in your audiobook library!

Loving the Series!
I’m thrilled to have found Robyn Peterman’s audiobook.
With characters that are surprisingly relatable, I’ve been listening to genres I don’t typically gravitate toward purely because the story comes from Robyn’s mind, which I adore. Her sense of humour is up my alley, and her writing is always excellent!
Starting the next book in the series immediately!

I love the characters but the story is lacking!
This is so disappointing we’re how many books into the series and the overall storyline has barely progressed, sure there’s been little revaluations but nothing huge. It’s sad I love how funny & likeable the characters are but I’m genuinely getting bored of this series because there’s no real substance to the storyline.

good series but.......
I enjoy the series but they all end at inappropriate places in the stories, it's frustrating
